Harlow Council and developer Stockland have launched a 120,000sq m revamp of the new town, first masterplanned 62 years ago.

London practice Engle is behind the plans which will include 500 new homes. A hotel, offices and restaurants are also included. Planning for the scheme, which is also being backed bu the Homes and Communities Agency, will be submitted next year.
